We have a large selection of instruments with a comfortable and spacious practice room to allow customers to try the instruments.



A large purpose built workshop within the shop enables all repairs and rehairs to be undertaken on site. See our repairs page for more details.

A brief word about John Carpenter

John has been repairing and selling musical instruments for the past 36 years.
A competent fiddle player himself, he plays regularly with the well known welsh ceilidh band 'Rattlin' Bog' ( pictured below )
and is also a member of Swansea Community Orchestra.
The knowledge gained through his playing and a keen interest in the work involved in the construction of these instruments made the decision to specialise in musical instruments an easy one. As a player himself he understands how a violin should feel and sound and can help in the difficult task of matching an instrument to the individual player.

We are a member of the MIA and support their work to bring music to the people.
